Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth at the National Groundwater Week Convention in Las Vegas!

It was such a wonderful time being able to see and meet so many of you. Building relationships with our customers is always one of our main goals and we are happy to have done so last week.

We would like to thank Nic Stevens from Stevens & Sons Well Drilling Inc. from Boise, Idaho for purchasing the GEFCO 30K mounted on a 2024 Western Star we had on display. We wish success in all their future drilling operations!

This 2009 GEFCO 30k belonging to Kendall Evans from MPI Water Solutions left for it's new home in Idaho recently! This rig was sold to Kendall through Jason McLeod of McLeod Water Wells Ltd. from Ontario, Canada and received a small makeover from us plus a new Holte casing hammer!



Below is some of the improvement/additions that were done:

✅Furnished and Installed New Holte CD 140 Hammer

✅Custom mounting hammer to top head

✅Front to back full service

✅DOT inspection

✅New front tires

Gary comes to us with over 30 years of capital equipment sales experience, which has equipped him to be a sales force in our industry. Gary's positive attitude, leadership skills, and well-earned respect make him stand out as an asset to our company.



Here at Nest, Gary will will focus on new GEFCO rig sales in the Midwest and Northeast as well as sales of used rigs (all makes and models!) across the US and Canada. His focus on satisfaction after the sale parallels Nest Equipment's mission of creating a positive relationship with our customers. Gary will be joining Dave Briner in this mission of customer service and sales; we look forward to this partnership!

Last Thursday GEFCO held an open house for sales teams to attend including Nest Equipment. We were able to invite contractors within our sales region of the Midwest and this year that included:

Recently our GEFCO 50k began its journey to Valley Drilling in Virginia! They asked for some specific customizations and we delivered! Below are some of the installations we did:

▪ a Washington Rotating Pneumatic Diverter to the rig

▪ a Fabco hydraulic welder and remote welding leads at the back of the rig

▪ the heavy-duty breakout wrench mount with the GEFCO heavy- duty Breakout wrench

▪ extra auxiliary air connections at the back of the rig

▪ an on-road off-road fuel valving

▪ a PTO temperature sensor

▪ an adjustable louver for the compressor cooler

Our two GEFCO 30K twins are currently ahead of schedule in Conroe, TX. The first, R80, is going through testing and is R81 making progress towards being done! We think it is really neat to see this process, so much hard work goes into making sure you get the water you need!



On November 1st these twin rigs will be available for rent or purchase. If you would like to get a look in person, R80 will be at the GEFCO open house on October 25-26 and R81 will be at the Groundwater Week convention in Las Vegas this December!

Dave has 12+ years of experience as a Service Technician at GEFCO, 5+ years in Sales and 7 years as a Service Manager at GEFCO.



Here at Nest he will be applying his strengths in service and sales to assist with equipment sales including drill rigs, pump trucks, and drilling support equipment. Additionally, he will be building off his years of experience and relationships to serve the industry on a national level.



Dave will also be representing Drillworx LLC, utilizing his knowledge of the parts and pieces needed to keep things turning to the right!

These rigs are on the way to their new homes, and we are proud to help provide a smooth transition for both!



The older model, a 2015 Atlas Copco TH60, has been sold to Nolan Rodriguez of H2O Well Drilling & Pump Service LLC. from Leo Van De Yacht Well Drilling. We did some general maintenance, top head rebuild work, and cleaning so that it is ready for its new home and owner.



The newer model, a 2024 Epiroc TH60, is from Keystone Drill Services, Inc. in Pennsylvania. Troy Van De Yacht, of Leo Van De Yacht Well Drilling in Green Bay, WI reached out to Nest Equip. to install his 5x6 American MFG Co. mud pump and help source the speed reducer. Shout out to Billy Davis and Chip Nelson from GEFCO for their help in hunting down the elusive SPEED REDUCER allowing delivery of this rig to stay on schedule.



Both Nolan and Troy are wonderful industry partners and we are proud to be working with them. These transactions are a perfect example of industry members collaborating to keep bits turning to the right.

Sam Vander Galien flew out to San Marcos, TX yesterday to pick up a GEFCO 30K mounted on a 2019 6x4 Peterbilt 367 rig from Barry Jackson of Drillworx LLC. This rig was recently purchased from GEFCO and after some cleaning up will be for sale!
