1.4 PTO, 40K

Enclosed steel gear box, with pressurized lubrication, filtration and cooling. The PTO intersects the truck driveline to enable the unit to be shifted to stationary or highway use. Does not include four (4) hydraulic pump drive pads, and a clutch for engaging and disengaging the compressor.

1.5 Belly Tubes

Hydraulic tubing (belly tubes) without Mud Pump.

1.6 Panel Assy, 40K

All controls and gauges are grouped at the left rear corner of the drill. All controls, valves and gauges are labeled for operator’s convenience and safety. Removable and lockable control panel cover is provided.

1.8 Air Compressor Assy, Standard 40K

An electronic control system (CARL) that allows the operator to vary volume and pressure. Sullair two-stage twin screw rotary compressor, 1,000 CFM, maximum pressure up to 350 PSI @1800 RPM. Unit is driven by PTO, power gear transfer through multi-disc air clutch and standard universal joint drive shaft.Safety low oil, high temperature shutdown system. Equipped with air receiver tank, pressure gauges, valves, cooler, separate air intake filter, and all necessary piping.

1.9 Cooler Deflector, rigid

Rigid deflectors installed to direct compressor fan air up away from the driller.

1.10 Water Injector, 25 GPM Bean piston pump

A hydraulically powered 4-cylinder Bean water injection pump, equipped with variable speed control for rated output up to 25 GPM (113 LPM).

1.11 Pipe Rack, 15 rods 4-1/2in drill pipe

Carrying rack with slide, mounted on RH side of Drill Frame, with access from rear platform. Accommodates 15 pieces of 4-1/2” or 3 1/2″ diameter x 20’ (6m) Flush Joint type Drill Pipe.

1.12 Breakout Wrench, 60″ Standard GEFCO
1.13 Mast, 40K

Mast and Crown Block:
Constructed of square steel tubing and structural steel electrically welded. Equipped with cable sheaves and guide tracks for tophead rotary which allows tophead to retract off centerline of hole. Allows 35 ft. (10.6 m) working space above breakout table. Raised and lowered by two (2) hydraulic cylinders. Includes a hinge mounted hydraulic breakout cylinder mounted above breakout table.

1.15 Drawworks, Main winch bent axis motor 40K

·         GEFCO main jib winch mounted on the mast for the purposes of tripping and pipe handling through the jib boom.

·         Winch rated working capacity is 25,000 lb (11,340 kg) single line pull and line speed of 202 ft/min (61.4 m/min) on bare drum.

·         Hydraulically driven by a bent axis motor via a speed reducer.

·         Lebus grooved drum.

·         Integrated parking brake.

·         Cable tensioner.

·         Independent Jib Boom remote controls located opposite operator’s station for jib and winch functions.

·         Adjustable jib boom for winch cable is mounted on top of mast and is provided with two (2) hydraulic cylinders for boom extension and boom swing from center of mast to center of rod box. Capable of running two (2) part line 40,000 lbs pull.

1.17 BG8, 4800lb auxillary winch

·         2,000 lbs Max line pull capacity with one layer.

1.19 Single Arm Loader, 4-1/2″

A single pipe loader is mounted on the right side of mast. Consists of a holding pod with hand wheel on bottom and a guide with safety latch on top. Unit swings from side of mast to center of hole for line up with tophead.

1.20 Carousel, 4-1/2″

Heavy-duty carousel holds six (6) pieces of 3 1/2″ or 4 ½” OD x 20 ft. (6.08 m) drill pipe mounted in derrick. Carousel is hydraulically controlled for storage in right rear corner of mast and centerline up with tophead. Indexing is manually controlled from working platforms.

1.21 Handling Kit, Drill pipe 4-1/2″ OD x 20’ x 2-7/8″ IF thread, GEFCO 3″ across flats
1.22 Lubricator

An air powered piston pump, drawing from lubrication oil tank.  Introduces lubricant into downhole air system to improve downhole air tool function. Seven (7) gallon (26.5 L) capacity, forced feed, electrically controlled from operator’s position, for lubrication of down-hole-hammer.
